Town supports subdivison extension

The Town of Gravenhurst is recommending the District of Muskoka extend the conditions of draft approval for the Beechwood Forest subdivision on Wellington Street.

The request, submitted to the district by developer Johan Carnell, asks for a two-year extension for the subdivision development that proposes 46 residential lots.

The developers say they are reviewing electrical plans presented by Veridian and are in the process of negotiating requisite easements required in advance of any financing.

Muskoka district council will consider the request shortly.
