Joel Milton Forth passed away at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, Bracebridge on October 17, 2007.
The son of Milton and Doris Forth of Bracebridge, Joel was raised in Falkenburg. He worked as a carpenter and labourer and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He will be missed by brothers Wayne Forth (Audrey) of Bracebridge, Mark Forth of Bracebridge and Craymer Forth (Penny) of Sudbury; sisters Gail Dikkes (Patrick) of Sarnia, June Cairns (Bill) of Bracebridge and Penny Ann Forth of Huntsville; nieces Cathy Jenke (Mark), Marcie Forth, Marianna Forth and Nicole Mielke; nephews Shawn Forth, Kurtis Cairns, Tyler Cairns, Michael Cairns, Christopher Forth and Michael Ricketts; and great-niece Kryslyn Anstey.
A funeral service was held October 20, 2007 at Reynolds Funeral Home Turner Chapel with Captain Chris Rideout and Captain Tina Rideout of the Salvation Army officiating.
Pallbearers were nephews Shawn Forth, Kurtis Cairns, Tyler Cairns and Michael Cairns and friend Hans Anderson.
Interment was at the municipal cemetery.
