May 19, 1917 – September 29, 2007
It is with profound sadness that our family announces the passing of Robina Constance “Bobbie” Sutton (née Clarke) in her 90th year.
She was the devoted and adored wife of 68 years to George Sutton, and beloved mother of Nancy and Dale, cherished by her grandchildren Kimberly, Karen, Eric and Kelly, and by her great-grandchildren Cameron and Joshua. She leaves behind her sister Lillian Yowart, her brother Bill Beverley and his wife Helen Beverley.
Bobbie was a poised, patient and classy lady, elegant to the end and a wonderful role model to us all. Her love for and dedication to her family and friends was, and will continue to be an unending source of inspiration for all of those whose lives she touched.
A better wife, mother, grandma or sister we could never have asked for. We will always remember her as a pillar of strength to those around her, with unlimited energy, a ready smile and laugh, never forgetting the small details and always there with wisdom, support and encouragement when you needed it. A woman of so many talents and so fondly remembered as hostess for all of those awesome family dinners with all of the trimmings.
Her presence among us will be sorely missed by her family and friends, leaving a space no one can hope to fill.
A memorial service will be held for the immediate family at a later date. Those wishing to express their condolences may do so c/o Nancy Sutton-Kehl at North Kahshe Lake Road, R.R.#2, Kilworthy, Ontario P0E 1G0, or by making a charitable donation to the organization of their choice in the name of Robina Sutton.
