July 5, 1927 - November 18, 2007

Suddenly, after a short illness, Don Brockbank died at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge on November 18, 2007.

Mr. Brockbank was born in Gravenhurst on July 5, 1927, the son of Clark and Netty Brockbank. He was married to Myrtle Brockbank, who predeceased him.

He is survived by his partner Shirley Parrish of Gravenhurst, daughters Dorothy Brockbank of Bracebridge and Beverly Needham of Alton and his sister Dorothy. He was predeceased by daughter Carol Schulz and son Don Brockbank Jr.

Mr. Brockbank was a retired hospital janitor.

A memorial service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Gravenhurst on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007 from 1 to 4 p.m. There will be no funeral service.
