Laura Lee Ricker died peacefully at Belleville General Hospital on Thursday, Nov. 22, in her 59th year, after a short battle with cancer.

She was the cherished daughter of the late Gertrude “Jean” and Arthur “Red” Ribbans of Gravenhurst, Ontario.

Laura Lee will be sadly missed by her dear friend and companion James Cowie of Trenton, her children Jennifer of Trenton, Rebecca (Brandon) of Oshawa and Jeffrey (Michelle) of Belleville and grandchildren Bryce, Cole, Robynn and Marshall and expectant grandchild. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings Joanne, William and Jeffrey of Gravenhurst.

At Laura Lee’s request, visitation will not be held. She was cremated at Elmwood Crematorium, Corbyville, Ontario.
