To a man who was not just a dad, husband, friend and entrepreneur.
He was intelligent, funny, sensitive, curious.
Loved to indulge in new things and to constantly learn.
He was quiet, kind, compassionate, never selfish,
Human and yes, sometimes got furious.
However, he was my dad β love him lots β I will forever make my wish,
That I could play guitar, talk, watch him work just once more.
He made life wonderful growing up as a kid.
Worked unselfishly to give us everything and to keep us all fed.
He wore his heart on his sleeve; his feelings for you to read, never hid.
He was true to his word; something you could always count on.
He was my dad, friend, support team and turned into my strongest bond.
He was different things to so many.
Counting the thoughts he shared on all topics, I would be rich from all the pennies.
He was a wonderful contributor to Muskoka and our small town.
Never turned anyone away, always available without a frown.
For now heβs in heaven above,
Sporting his new Harley with pride.
Watching and protecting us all with strong love,
And waiting patiently for us to arrive, with arms open wide.
Till that day, he wants us to celebrate his life with a party, country style.
For his love is not far away β we will feel him when we smile.
