Dec. 31: LEGION NEW YEAR’S EVE, with entertainment by Steeling Time. Doors open at 8 p.m., music starts at 9 p.m. Midnight buffet, glass of champagne. Tickets $25 per person.
Jan. 2: SOUP KETTLE, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Bracebridge United Church auditorium. Everything is homemade.

Dec 31: NEW YEAR’S EVE DANCE, at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 302. Live band featuring classic rock, blues and soul. Tickets $20 each, available at the legion and Bracebridge Yamaha. Light buffet, party favours and free shuttle service within 10 km.

Dec. 21: FISH & CHIPS, every Friday at the Port Carling legion, 5:30 p.m.
