1919 – 2007
Shoaieh Parvin von Eshghabad, widow of Dr. Ziaollah Dadvand, passed away on December 8, 2007, at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge.
She was born in Russia on March 17, 1919.
During her lifetime she touched many lives and she believed that peace is important both in living and in dying. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family members, and at one with God.
We mourn our mother’s loss and we feel the void she left behind.
We thank our mother’s family physician, Dr. Stamatina Kappos, who always treated her with care and compassion. We also thank the administrators and nursing staff of the Palliative Care Unit of South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, who gave our mother excellent around-the-clock care during the last four days of her life spent in that hospital. As well, we are grateful for the kindness of others who helped make it possible for us to take care of our mother to the end and yet others who, after she passed away, remembered her with visits, phone calls, cards and flowers.
God bless you for caring.
