Euchre players needed for zone tournament 

A darts for hearts tournament will be held at Branch 302 on Sunday, Feb. 10.

The ladies auxiliary will be holding a Valentine’s Luncheon on Thursday, Feb. 14 from noon until 2 p.m. Tickets are $6 each and are advance tickets only; they will not be sold at the door. To purchase one please call the legion at 687-2801 or Linda Courtney at 687-7882. The menu is soup, sandwiches and dessert.

On Friday, Feb. 15, a TGIF will be held in the upstairs main hall beginning 6 p.m. The cost is $9 per person and the menu is roast beef.

Zone euchre will be held in MacTier on Saturday, Feb. 16. Closing date to enter is Wednesday, Feb. 6. So far they only have one team. So all you euchre players, register now.

On Saturday, Feb. 17 a Skokie darts tournament will be held, with registration from 9 until 9:45 a.m. and games starting 10 o’clock sharp. The cost is $40 per team. To register call 687-7831.

The dabber bingo night went off very well on Thursday for the first one. It will be held every week and the more people attending, the bigger the payout. So let’s see more players out each week. A mini snack bar is available, and early bird game begins at 7 p.m.

For those who like cribbage or euchre, they are held every Tuesday, with cribbage at 1 p.m. and euchre at 7 p.m.

Just a reminder to all legion branches in Muskoka. If any legion member requires a legion dress uniform, please call Jim Reid at 687-8133. There are blazers, white shirts and grey pants and all sizes available.
