Ken Roeske is tops in chili contest
We’ll start off this week with some thank-yous for the help with Winterfest: Fraser’s Home Hardware for the propane; Scott Noerenberg; Tom Upham; McDermotts and Karen Croden. There are lots more. Winterfest went well with a good turnout.
We wish to congratulate Ken Roeske who came first in the chili cook-off.
We had our general meeting last Thursday and attendance was low. Members need to show up to have their say.
The poppy campaign reports that we had a great year. Thanks go out to Elaine Greer for all her help.
This week’s lunch special is Salmon Casserole with lots of sandwiches and two soups — cream of tomato and vegetable beef. Hope to see you there.
Sunday breakfast reports good numbers but we still need help. Friday Fish & Chips are going well. Be sure to come out and support your branch.
Lest we forget.
