Treat your sweetheart to valentine lunch at the legion

The Ladies Auxiliary will be holding a Valentine’s Luncheon on Thursday, Feb. 14 from noon until 2 p.m. Tickets, $6 per person, are advance tickets only; none will be sold at the door. Call the legion at 687-2801 or Linda Courtney at 687-7882 for your ticket. The menu will be soup, sandwiches and dessert.

A roast beef TGIF will be held at the legion on Friday, Feb. 15 beginning 6 p.m. The cost is $9 per person and it is open to everyone.

On Sunday, Feb. 17 the Skokie Darts tournament will be held. Registration is 9 until 9:45 a.m., with a prompt game start at 10 a.m. The cost is $40 per team. To register call 687-7831.

The general meeting will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 19 beginning 8 p.m. sharp. All members are asked to be there. Your input is very important.

Dabber Bingo is now being played every Thursday night at the branch, with early bird starting at 7 p.m. A mini snack bar is available. The payout will be based on the attendance. The more players, the bigger the payout. So all who like bingo and would like to play, drop over and take part.

Cribbage and euchre are played every Tuesday, with cribbage starting at 1 p.m. and euchre at 7 p.m. If you would like to play, drop over to the legion and take part. They are held in the main hall upstairs.
