LEGIONS NEWS - Branch 302, Gravenhurst
Come out and enjoy an evening of bingo

Royal Canadian Legion service bureau officer Peter Shields of North Bay will be visiting in our area during the week of April 1. Anyone wishing information, advice or assistance is requested to contact the branch service officer, Nellie Gorman at 687-2367 to arrange an appointment on or before Wednesday, March 16.

The Parker and Wells dart tournament will be held on Saturday, March 8. Registration is 10:30 a.m. with a prompt start at 11 a.m.

A St. Patrick’s Day dance will be held at Branch 302 featuring Arden Ruttan and Country Gold, classic country music and square dancing on Saturday, March 22, 8 p.m. until 12 a.m. Tickets are $10 per person and available at the legion. A light lunch will be served.

Dabber Bingo is now being played every Thursday night at the legion, with early bird games starting at 7 p.m. A mini snack bar is available. The prize payout depends on the attendance, The more in attendance, the bigger the payout.

Every Tuesday at 1 p.m., cribbage is played in the upstairs hall and in the evening, euchre is played beginning 7 p.m.

Meat draw winners for Saturday, Feb. 9: first draw - Ralph Reid, David Seddon, Gord Wood; second draw - Alan Wells, Jim Marr, Jim Marr; third draw - Debbie Ure, Bruce Miller; fourth draw - Wes Nash, Joan Parsons, Doris Dupuis; fifth draw - Wilf North, John Brown; sixth draw - David Seddon, Bob Cherry, Jim Marr. Thanks to all who helped with the draw.  Lest we forget.
