Ladies, have you ever noticed how many sports teams there are out there for guys? If so, here’s your chance to get involved.

Bracebridge and Muskoka Lakes Secondary School is starting a girls field hockey team.

This introduction to field hockey will be coached by Mrs. Greenfield and Miss Nicholson, and you will learn how to play the game and have the opportunity to develop your stick-handling skills. It’s all about promoting good health and staying in shape. Any BMLSS girl who is interested in playing is welcome to the first practice, which has been tentatively scheduled for the first week of April.

Practices will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays first thing in the morning (7 to 8 a.m.) in the small gym, but once it warms up, we’ll be outside!
