April 15: GRAVENHURST HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY general meeting, 7:30 p.m. at Seniors Centre. Marion Steinbach from Deer Proof Gardens in Dwight will speak on how to plant a deer-proof garden. Everyone welcome.

April 19 through 26: SILENT AUCTION at the Gravenhurst Salvation Army Thrift Store. Always at least 70 items to bid on. Auction closes at 3 p.m.
