April 18 & 19: RUMMAGE SALE at St. James Anglican Church, at the corner of Hotchkiss and John streets, 1 till 7 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. till noon on Saturday.
April 19: BENEFIT DANCE FOR CHLOE at the legion. Free admission and light buffet. Raffles will be held with all proceeds to the French family to ease financial burden so family can concentrate on Chloe’s recovery.
April 19 through 26: SILENT AUCTION at the Gravenhurst Salvation Army Thrift Store. Always at least 70 items to bid on. Auction closes at 3 p.m.
April 22: FREE TAX CLINIC, 10:30 a.m. to 4:10 p.m., at the library. Volunteers will prepare tax returns at no charge where incomes are $25,000 or less (no business returns). To register or for information call 687-3382.
