RENO TIME. Workers atop scaffolding prepare the façade at 154 Muskoka Rd. South for a new look. The former dollar store has been purchased by Randy Brown who plans to open Cottage Cravings next month.
A new business is coming to downtown Gravenhurst in hopes of tantalizing taste buds with tasty treats.

Cottage Cravings, a gourmet food and gift store offering gourmet fudge and chocolate, ice cream, frozen yogurt and preserves like gourmet jams and dips, anticipates an opening in early May, said owner/operator Randy Brown.

Brown and his wife, originally from the Aurora area, purchased the building at 154 Muskoka Rd. South in December and are currently renovating the building’s interior and façade. They plan to relocate to the area to run the business year-round.

In addition to the products that satisfy the sweet tooth, Brown said Cottage Cravings will also offer a variety of sugar-free items.
