Jennie Kerswell celebrates 90 years

Jennie Kerswell, a well known, special lady born Friday, April 13, 1918, celebrated her 90th birthday at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 302, Gravenhurst on Saturday.

She was joined by her three brothers and their wives, Ross and Shirley, Larry and Eleanor, and Donald and Carol, along with family, friends and neighbours.

Jennie and her late husband Hilts moved to Gravenhurst 60 years ago.

Working at the Guardian and IDA drugstores for 35 years, Jennie was a familiar face on the main street. She is a member of St. James Anglican Church, the Gravenhurst Seniors Centre and the Gravenhurst Horticultural Society. She is also an avid photographer.
