Bracebridge OPP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a handicapped man reported missing person from an adult group home on Muskoka Road North in Gravenhurst Monday night.

At about 10:30 p.m., staff at the Muskoka North Residential group home reported that 48-year-old David Robert Tustin was observed leaving the facility around lunchtime. He did not return Monday evening for dinner.

Leaving the facility during daylight hours is not out of character for him as he usually walks to Gravenhurst and frequents the coffee shops, said a media release issued by the OPP.

Tustin is mentally handicapped and is described as a white male, five feet nine inches tall, 170 pounds, with a clean-shaven head and brown eyes. He was believed to be wearing dark-coloured clothing including a dark, winter coat. The direction of travel is unknown, but he was suspected to be walking to downtown Gravenhurst.

The OPP is requesting anyone who observes or locates David Tustin to call police.
