Rotary Club members get ‘hands on' experience
Gravenhurst Rotary Club members Mary Leger Flavell and Maryanne Marshall recently shared their life experiences with club members in classification speeches.

Leger spoke of her extensive experience at IBM, her administration duties at inner city schools and her work as an executive secretary at the Royal York.

Over the years, she has worked at cable TV, psychiatric hospitals and at Ernst & Young.

After discovering a talent for working with computers, she began training and troubleshooting in that field.

Moving to Muskoka, Leger would like Rotarians and other members of the community to know that she loves to teach people one-on-one to become more proficient with their computers. She is available for training, upgrades and tune-ups.

Maryanne Marshall led the club in an entirely different direction. After many years spent as a military police officer, Marshall trained for another career as a registered massage therapist.

She took the club through a series of relaxation, massage and meditation exercises to help them in their daily lives. The lesson was very practical and enjoyed by all.
